Men’s designer sunglasses – our top picks
Well, you might not believe it, but summer is almost here. That means regardless of what the weather is like, it’s just the ticket to invest in a new pair of sunnys. We spoke to our friends over at David Clulow and Sunglass Hut to whet our appetite and to see what this season’s selection had to offer. Check out our favourite men’s designer sunglasses and top picks for 2013…
Ray Ban Sunglasses
Ray Ban, £135.00
The best thing about aviators is that they are timeless. And we love what Ray Ban have done here with their Metallic Aviators, bringing back the classic gold frames and blue mirrored lenses from the mid-nineties.
Ray Ban, £130.00
These Squared Clubmasters by Ray Ban are an ingenious combination of modern-day slick and old-school retro, which look equally as good with a suit or as part of beach wear.
Prada Men’s Sunglasses
Prada never fail to impress us with their eyewear innovation. The round metal framed appeal for sunglasses has seen a huge increase in demand following the release of Django Unchained, in which Jamie Foxx, playing Django, is seen sporting a similar pair.
Keeping with the round shape theme, the Prada Brown Acetate frames share a striking similarity with the Steve McQueen Persol sunglasses that were the hit of last summer. The tortoise-shell frame design is spot on trend for 2013 so we predict this to be the hot choice for this year.
D&G Sunglasses Men
Dolce & Gabbana, £115.00
Not best known for their eyewear range, Dolce & Gabbana have ‘caught our eye’ with these Pilot frames. The perfect accessory for casual wear – think beach, barbeques and cocktails.
Burberry Men Sunglasses
The Burberry Mustard ‘Splash’ Collection frames are a stand out piece. Not everyone’s cup of tea we imagine, but unequivocally scream summer and colour in the same sentence. A bold choice for the stand out individual.
