Rolex Explorer II
If you are in the market for a new watch, loo no further. Rolex, creators of some of the worlds most superb watches have just launched their newest model and it’s a winner.
The Explorer II is inspired by the world of exploration. Since the 1920s, Rolex has been using the world as a testing ground for its watches and have used them in real-life conditions. This has led them to be at the forefront in watches that are reliable, robust and precise.
The new design used 904L stainless steel for the steel watchcase. The material is mostly used in high technology, aerospace and chemical industries and is resistant to corrosion. It is also highly polishable (making sure that your watch is always clean and shiny) and can maintain its design in the harshest of elements. The dial is a distinctive feature of a Rolex and on the Explorer II, the watich is characterized by hour markers fashioned from 19 carat gold to prevent tarnishing. The white dial on the new model is an especially swanky feature that we are digging.
Perhaps our favorite feature of the watch is the oyster bracelet. It is the perfect balance of form and function, aesthetically pleasing and technologically advanced it is robust and incredibly comfortable. It is equipped with an Oyster lock folding clasp which prevents any accident opening (and subsequent slipping off your wrist) and it even has an exclusive Easy link comfort extension link that allows the wearer to increase the bracelet length by 5mm.
