Until now there has been a very certain way of buying and selling a suit. We go into a shop, grab a suit from a rail and try it on. Once satisfied, we purchase and walk away. The newest release from Stephen Williams changes things dramatically.
The brand has just launched the ultimate luxury gift – a limited edition “bespoke suit in a box”. It sounds exactly like what it is – you will get your suit in a plush, hand-crafted leather box that holds enough fabric and lining to cut a bespoke suit.
The purchaser (or the very lucky recipient) purchases the gift box and selects the best-selling “Super 120s” wool cloth in black, navy or grey plus signature crest lining in white, black, blue, purple or red. These are then folded and placed inside the box with a personalized card and the whole thing is then gift-wrapped.
The next step is then to simply to book an appointment to be fitted for the suit, receiving the Stephen Williams quintessential high level of personal service which involves choosing style, fit and details like stitching, buttons, monogramming and more.
The designer Stephen Williams has been famous for making suits for over thirty years, after having mastered the art of bespoke at London’s iconic Savile Row. Based in Shoreditch, it is his mission to bring a contemporary twist to tailoring, be that with a flash of colour, printed lining or button engraving. His list of best dressed clients includes David Beckham, Benedict Cumberbatch and Greg Rutherford.
Shop the suit in a box from £1750 at Stephen Williams.
